It's been a long time since I've posted anything here.I've been working here for over 2 months now. I wish I could post about good, new things in my life, but life doesn't always go my way.
Well, I'll say that I really, really like my team.
Every one is nice and kind.
It's just that sometimes I'm not doing well at work, and there are these mean girls I don't really know their names of from other teams that are trying to make my life at work miserable. I know many Korean women can be really bitchy, and there are nice ones, too, like my friend in my team. That's why I try to ignore the bitchy ones most of the times, although what they do just gets to me sometimes.
So... yeah, I'm not fine.

I just learned to go on and focus on my work. But also becoming friends with this great guy from work actually made all this bearable :)
DeleteI am so sorry that I haven't been active- depression kept me away from posting anything as the posts would apparently be about miserable stuff as well... I promise I'll try to be more active from now on since things seem to be perking up :3
Work relationships are difficult, especially when you're new, or just don't happen to "fit in" to the dominant culture for some reason. I'm ok with most people here, but sometimes, people are just plain rude, and I have to keep myself from taking it all personally. In the end, it's on them that they're mean/rude, not you. It reflects a lot more on them than you that they are not nice people.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Hiro! It got so much better afterwards when I became friends with this great guy at work! That made everything bearable because being around nice, fun person outshines thoughtlessly rude people. I agree with you that some people are just rude for no reason, but I now chose to ignore them- it will be their karma, after all. Anyway, the day is too beautiful for such negativity :)
